Kleeman Community Center to host Senior Prom

Clarksville, TN – The Kleeman Community Center is hosting the Quick Silver Social of the season. The Senior Prom will be held March 19th at 5:00pm at the Kleeman Community Center. Suggested attire for the Senior Prom is “after 5.”
This event is free of charge and open to those ages 50 and up. The Kleeman Community Center is located at 166 Cunningham Lane.

Free Pool Membership to be Given Away at the Indoor Aquatic Center Grand Opening

Clarksville, TN – The New Providence Pool, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, has a new look and new name. After weeks of work and just hours of inflation, the pool is now sheltered with a bubble like dome which will allow for year-round use of the Indoor Aquatic Center.
The “Dive in the Dome” grand opening is still scheduled for tomorrow, January 29th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm but due to snow and frigid temperatures, the inflation of the dome was delayed from its schedule this week and visitors looking to take a swim will experience much cooler water temperatures than expected. Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks & Recreation is looking forward to the opening of the much anticipated Indoor Aquatic Center. Beginning this morning at 7:00am, New Providence Pool, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, will get a new look- it will be sheltered with a bubble like dome to allow for year-round use. Indoor Aquatic Center to Open January 8th

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks & Recreation is looking forward to the opening of the much anticipated Indoor Aquatic Center. Beginning the first part of the year, New Providence Pool, located on Cunningham Lane, will get a new look- it will be sheltered with a bubble like dome to allow for year-round use.
The Indoor Aquatic Center was originally scheduled to open to the public, January 3rd, 2011, but due to weather delays, the center will open to the public with a Dive in the Dome party, January 8th, 2011. This celebration will give the public the opportunity to learn more about the center by offering free admission all day long. [Read more]

The Indoor Aquatic Center will officially open to the public, January 3rd, 2011, with a grand opening celebration taking place, Saturday, January 8th, 2011 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
