Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department now accepting summer pool staff applications for the New Year

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting applications for lifeguard positions for the 2014 summer swimming season.
Applicants considered for hire will be interviewed and must pass a swim test. Once those steps are completed he/she will be put into one of the following 3 certification courses. [Read more]

Clarksville’s Indoor Aquatic Center is Hiring Lifeguards and Cashiers

Clarksville, TN – The Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, is now hiring for part-time lifeguards and cashiers.
To become a lifeguard, participants must be at least 15 years of age and able to swim 300 yards continuously, tread water for two minutes without the use of arms or hands and successfully complete a timed event within 1 minute and 40 seconds.
Clarksville Community Centers will close temporarily for annual maintenance and gym floor upgrades

Clarksville Parks and Recreation reports Indoor Aquatic Center back Open

Clarksville, TN – Due to mechanical issues, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department temporarily closed the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, last week.
The pool is now open and welcoming visitors.

Clarksville, TN – This year your child can swim with Santa at the Indoor Aquatic Center! Santa will be visiting the pool, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, on Sunday, December 15th from 2:00pm until 4:00pm.
Families can enjoy refreshments, crafts with Mrs. Claus and swimming!
