Each year, the theme highlights one of our 7 principles of Leadership, Enlightenment, Achievement, Perseverance, Outreach, Responsibility, and Growth.
The LEAP Organization recognizes the importance of encouraging youth to be productive and responsible citizens, and is honored to provide resources to assist youth in their quest to pursue higher learning opportunities.

Clarksville Academy takes the Next Step in Technology

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Academy, a Pre-K through 12th grade private college preparatory school is excited to announce that all of its 6th-8th grade students will receive the iPad 3 when school begins in the fall. This is the second phase in the 1:1 program launched last fall. Currently all 9th-12th grade students have a MacBook that is used in all their classes. The addition of iPads to the Intermediate School only enhances the technological experience at CA.
Upper School students will go into their second year of using the MacBook in their classrooms. Last year’s students loved this experience and found it helped to better prepare them for what lies ahead in college.
APSU plans grand opening of Castle Heights residence hall in August

Phase II to begin this Fall
Clarksville, TN – Campus excitement is building in anticipation of the new Castle Heights residence hall at Austin Peay State University – especially since it is the first new student housing project since Hand Village opened in July 2004.
A grand opening for Castle Heights is slated for 10:00am, Thursday, August 11th. The public is invited to attend the celebration at the new facility, located on the corner of Robb Avenue and Marion Street. The event will feature a tour, refreshments and a brief ceremony.
LEAP preps students through Internet based scavenger hunt

Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday, March 2nd 2011 students from the LEAP Intern program participated in a collegiate Internet trivia based scavenger hunt. “The objective of the exercise was to familiarize students with utilizing the Internet to research college majors, requirements, fun interesting facts about various schools,” says, Tamira Cole, President of the LEAP Organization Board of Directors. As an incentive for participating, the group who won the scavenger hunt received two $25.00 gift cards to stores of their choosing. [Read more]
