Clarksville Street Department seeks Stream Cleanup Helpers

Clarksville, TN – Volunteers are needed from 9:00amto 1:00pm Saturday, August 26th, 2017 for the Fletchers Fork Stream Cleanup.
The Clarksville Street Department is hosting the event to improve water quality by picking up trash and other debris littering the bank of Fletchers Fork.
Friends of the Clarksville Blueway to host cleanup at Billy Dunlop Park

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department and the Friends of the Blueway are hosting a cleanup at one of the City parks. Join the Friends on October 20th from 8:00am to 10:00am at Billy Dunlop Park, located at 1930 East Boy Scout Road.
Participants will be cleaning the West Fork Red River area of the park that is frequently used by canoes and kayaks. [Read more]
Clarksville Parks and Recreation hosting Trail Cleanup at the Clarksville Greenway October 13th

Clarksville, TN – Clarksvillians are encouraged to join in the beautification of one of the City’s favorite walking trails. The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a cleanup at The Clarksville Greenway, located at the Pollard Road Trailhead, on Saturday, October 13th from 8:00am to 10:00am.
Our trails need constant maintenance, but to make it more fun, we schedule volunteer maintenance days throughout the year to keep them in shape.

A walk thru the flood damage at Hardware City with owner Joni Covington. We take a look at the type of damage their having to deal with as well as how they are cleaning up after the disaster.
There is plenty of work to be done and they can use all the helping hands they can get.
