APSU Public Relations and Marketing wins five awards for excellence

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) Office of Public Relations and Marketing was recently honored for its work by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) – Southeast District III, winning five awards.
The awards were announced in January and will be awarded at the 2020 CASE III annual conference February 9th-12th in Orlando, Florida.

APSU mathematics students serve and learn in Jamaica during winter break

Clarksville, TN – On a brutally humid afternoon in May Pen, Jamaica, Austin Peay State University (APSU) student Sara Grey went missing. One minute, she was following Dr. Jackie Vogel, APSU professor of mathematics, up a dark stairwell in one of the city’s poorest schools, and the next minute she was gone.
“I turned and said, ‘Where’s Sara?’” Vogel recalled.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Transit Service will place three new hybrid buses into service on February 1st, 2020 continuing a trend of updating the fleet with more modern and fuel-efficient vehicles.
These new buses replace three others that were more than 13 years old and had more than
2 million miles, collectively, on them.
