Clarksville, TN – During the Spring 2020 semester, Austin Peay State University (APSU) students, faculty and staff made many adjustments to conduct all classes online as a result of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The pandemic has also caused many members of the APSU campus community to experience unique personal difficulties in their lives.

Altra Foundation awards Scholarships to 17 High School Seniors

Clarksville, TN – Graduations and other award ceremonies may have looked different this year, but the Altra Foundation was still excited to award 17 High School Seniors with $1,000 scholarships for 2020.
The Altra Foundation Community Service Scholarship is awarded to those that have demonstrated a history of community service to help build a stronger community.
Clarksville McDonald’s to hold Drive by Parade for 23 Graduating Seniors

Clarksville, TN – A Clarksville McDonald’s says a celebration is in order! The graduating class of 2020 isn’t able to hold their diplomas high after shaking hands with their principal. However, communities are rallying together to throw celebrations for seniors like none other.
Local Clarksville McDonald’s owner-operator Emily Ellis is hosting a graduation parade for 23 crew members that graduated this year.
Manna Cafe begins weekly Summer Youth Meal Program

Clarksville, TN – Manna Cafe Ministries introduces Manna Mini Meals, a weekly summer youth meal program for children under the age of 18.
Manna Mini Meals is scheduled for every Thursday from 10:00am to 4:00pm beginning June 4th, 2020. The meals will be distributed at Manna’s Big House, 605 Providence Boulevard, Clarksville, TN, 37042 in front of the red door.
