Montgomery County, TN – The latest business to complete requirements for Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification and host a Green Ribbon Cutting is Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union.
Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers, City of Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan, and Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Melinda Shepard were there to congratulate the Credit Union employees for their certification.

Clarksville, TN – The Rivers and Spires Festival is pleased to announce the Platinum-selling and CMA award-nominated country musician, Randy Houser, will take the Public Square Stage on Saturday, April 26th at 7:00pm. The concert is free and open to the public.

Teams in the Spring Adult Leagues may now begin registering. This league is open to men and women ages 18 and older.

Clarksville Concert Association’s concert at APSU featuring Pianist Conrad Tao postponed to Thursday

Clarksville, TN – Nineteen-year-old, award winning pianist Conrad Tao, to appear in concert this Thursday, February 6th at 7:30pm in the George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall at Austin Peay State University, 8th and Marion streets in Clarksville. The concert is being put on by the Clarksville Community Concert Association.
Virtuoso pianist Conrad Tao became the only classical musician on Forbes’ 2011 “30 Under 30” list of people changing the world.

Stocks hesitate as expected after a strong rally

Clarksville, TN – U.S. stocks had a great run in 2013 with major indices up 27% to 38%, but that momentum lost a bit of steam in January and the first hours of February trading.
The pullback toward the end of January seems to reflect investor concern about turmoil in emerging markets in general, and specifically, about a drop in Argentina’s currency and a deceleration of Chinese manufacturing.

Come see uniformed Civil War re-enactors from the 50th Tennessee Reenactment Group who will provide living history and musket firing demonstrations.
