Clarksville, TN – Be a part of a Clarksville tradition by participating in this year’s annual Christmas parade, hosted by the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government.
This night-time, lighted Christmas parade, is scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd beginning at 5:00pm in Downtown Clarksville.
Austin Peay State University Opera Workshop to perform “Brush Up Your Shakespeare” on November 20th

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University Opera Workshop will explore the diverse works of one of history’s greatest playwrights, William Shakespeare, as it presents “Brush Up On Your Shakespeare” on Sunday, November 20th.
The curtain rises at 3:00pm, in the Mabry Concert Hall, located inside the Music/Mass Communication Building on the University campus. The show is free and open to the public.

Clarksville, TN – It is not exactly like the old joke about three opposite personalities that all walk into a bar, but anything – and everything – goes when a brassy nightclub singer, a starry-eyed stowaway and a wanted man all find their way onto a transatlantic luxury liner during the Austin Peay State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance’s presentation of “Anything Goes” this November 16th-20th.

The 151st Meeting
Clarksville, TN – The next meeting of the Clarksville (TN) Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, November 16th, 2016 at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Tennova Healthcare. This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall.
The meeting begins at 7:00pm and is always open to the public. Members please bring a friend or two – new recruits are always welcomed.

Veterans at Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Clarksville receive Quilts of Valor

Clarksville, TN – On Veterans Day, Friday, November 11th, 2016, members of Quilting in Clarksville presented 15 Quilts of Valor to veterans at Clarksville’s Tennessee State Veteran’s Home. The presentation began at 10:00am.
The Veterans home was filled with people there to watch the presentation of the quilts. Some of the people in attendance included: Tennessee State Representative Joe Pitts; Members of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Association; Quilting in Clarksville Members: Dawn Wilcox, Jerry Church, Gloria Underwood, Lannette Miller , Roberta Samuels, Kathy Huff, Michelle Roberts; and members of the 101st Airborne Division.

Austin Peay State University unveils new curated photography exhibition

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University Department of Art and Design will unveil its newest exhibition, Topography: Exploring Dimensionality in the Jim and Nan Robertson Photography Collection this November.
Curated by Jewel Birdsong Scholarship and Presidential Scholarship recipient Sara Straussberger, the exhibition will be on display from November 10th-March 2017 in the Harned Building’s Mabel Larson Gallery.
Nashville band Hotstop to perform at Clarksville’s Wicked Good Sandwiches

Clarksville, TN – On Friday, November 18th, 2016, the Nashville-based high energy rock band Hotstop will be performing at Wicked Good Sandwiches in Clarksville, TN. The Hollywood Kills and Vedra will also perform.
Formed in January 2013, Hotstop is Bryn William (vocals), Drü Marshall (drums), and the Wlodyka brothers (guitars), Waldemar and Derek Max.

Clarksville, TN – “E.T. the Extra Terrestrial” is the next movie in the “Planters Bank Presents…” film series. This movie will be shown this Sunday, November 13th, 2016 at the Roxy Regional Theatre at 2:00pm.
“E.T. the Extra Terrestrial” is about After a gentle alien becomes stranded on Earth, the being is discovered and befriended by a young boy named Elliott. Bringing the extraterrestrial into his suburban California house, Elliott introduces E.T., as the alien is dubbed, to his brother and his little sister. The children decide to keep E.T’s existence a secret.
