APSU hosting Industry Summit for Veterans wanting to open a Small Business

Clarksville, TN – This February, the Veteran Business Outreach Center, the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC), the Austin Peay State University Division of External Affairs and the APSU Office of Career Services will join forces to help military-connected individuals interested in opening their own businesses.
From 9:00am to 3:00pm on February 22nd, the three entities will host the APSU Industry Summit for Veterans: Boots to Business Reboot at 416 College Street.

The Office of eDiplomacy, founded in 2003, seeks to “innovative diplomacy powered by knowledge leadership, superior customer support and collaborative technology.”

APSU sends dolls to stratosphere to celebrate women in STEM

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University and the APSU College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) recently celebrated women in STEM by launching a high-altitude balloon carrying two dolls adorned in American Girl NASA space suits.
The dolls reached 93,914 feet at 11:13am January 24th, 2019.

Users are able to use this new portal when registering for programs offered through the Activity Guide and view a searchable catalog of Clarksville Parks and Recreation programs and events.

APSU to host annual Guitarfest February 11th-13th

APSU Art + Design welcomes Charlton and Doud for collaborative artist lecture

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) Department of Art + Design, with support from the APSU Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts, will welcome artists Zoë Charlton and Tim Doud to campus for an artist lecture at 6:00pm Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 in room 120 of the Art + Design building.
“Zoë and Tim are the developers behind the collaborative project, |’sindikit|, located in Baltimore,” Michael Dickins, chair of the APSU Visiting Artist Speaker Committee, said.
