Clarksville brewery aims to raise funds for local nonprofits through ‘Ale-truism’

King’s Bluff Brewery is donating a portion of proceeds to Habitat for Humanity and other local nonprofits.

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County TennesseeClarksville, TN – Thanks to the generosity of King’s Bluff Brewery (KBB), Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, TN will now benefit from funds raised by a new beer on tap at the local gathering spot.

The new brew, known as the Hometown Honey Golden Ale, is part of KBB’s ‘Ale-truism’ program.

Clarksville ReStore creates Online Store

Sales from the online store support Habitat for Humanity’s affordable housing program

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County TennesseeClarksville, TN – Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Tennessee (HFHMCTN) has launched an online retail store (shopclarksvillerestore.org) to sell donated items, focusing on home goods, furniture, and building supplies. 

The Clarksville ReStore is a critical revenue source for the Clarksville-based housing ministry. Since closing in March due to COVID-19 Coronavirus, Habitat developed the online platform to fund its home building programs for low-income families in Clarksville-Montgomery County. 

Volunteers Mary Jocelyn and Luke Dahlen help stage donated items for the Clarksville ReStore’s new online platform. The ReStore serves as the main revenue source for Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County. Customers can now visit shopclarksvillerestore.org to shop for items sold at the nonprofit retailer.

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County TennesseeClarksville, TN – Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County Tennessee accepted a donation from Pastor Willie Lyle of the Sango United Methodist Church (UMC) this week from the proceeds of the 2013 Sango Scamper Road Race.

Habitat for Humanity has been the beneficiary of this Sango UMC event for over 20 years.

Habitat ReStore holding Tent Sale to benefit Habitat Home Construction

Montgomery County Habitat RestoreClarksville, TN – The Habitat for Humanity ReStore will be hosting a Tent Event on Saturday June 25th from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the 408 Madison Street store location.

Austin Peay State University in partnership with American Constructors made a very generous donation to the ReStore. And, to showcase it all the ReStore is having a tent sale! Items such as solid oak beds (single and bunk beds), nightstands (3 drawer), desks, desk chairs, and chest of drawers (4 drawer); some items will start as low as $15.00! [Read more]
