Clarksville Parks and Recreation to begin new Archery sessions at Burt-Cobb Community Center and Kleeman Community Center in September

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation hosted the fourth-annual Clarksville Sports Festival on Saturday, August 16th, at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center at Liberty Park.
Clarksville Sports Festival is a celebration of sports and athletics in Clarksville and the surrounding area and features not only sports demonstrations and interactive areas, but also an exposition area where a wide variety of Clarksville and Montgomery County’s athletic and outdoor clubs, businesses and organizations came together in one location.

Riverfest Volunteer contest continues, now open to those 16 and older

Clarksville, TN – Is your non-profit organization looking to win some cash? The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is offering a $500.00 cash prize to the non-profit organization that provides the most hours volunteered at Riverfest 2014.
Volunteers will be helping with soft drink sales on September 5thand 6th, as well as the Adventure Zone Kids’ Area on September 6th, at McGregor Park.
