Clarksville, TN – The 4th Annual Fright on Franklin, presented by The City of Clarksville and Planter’s Bank, will take place, Saturday, October 27th, beginning at 3:00pm in Downtown Clarksville.
This free, family friendly and award winning event is for adults and kids of all ages and will feature safe trick-or-treating, costume contests, and much more!
Clarksville’s Riverfest Festival continues Today

Clarksville, TN – The 2012 Riverfest Festival continues Saturday. The free festival held on the banks of the Cumberland River at McGregor Park celebrates Clarksville’s river heritage.
Come out and join the City of Clarksville, Budweiser, and Agero as they celebrate the 25th annual Riverfest Celebration, September 7th and 8th, 2012. This Free, two day music and arts festival features four stages of a variety of local, regional and nationally-known entertainers, delicious food, and fun for the entire family. [Read more]

Clarksville’s Kleeman Community Center to host Savings A’hoy: Money Management Fair

Clarksville, TN – The Kleeman Community Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, will be hosting the first-ever “Savings A’hoy”: Money Management Fair on September 29th from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
Savings A’hoy will promote financial literacy in the community starting at a young age. This fair is open to families, primarily with young children, as fun and games will be used to teach the importance of saving money and how to do so. [Read more]
“The Princess Bride” and “The Goonies” at Movies in the Park Tonight

Clarksville, TN – Come out to the Heritage Park Soccer fields tonight for Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park event, featuring two movies from the 80’s.
“The Princess Bride” is scheduled to begin around 7:20pm, followed by “The Goonies” around 9:00pm. Both movies are rated PG.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department hiring Athletic Assistant

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the Athletic Assistant position. The Athletic Assistant will assist in planning, organizing and facilitating comprehensive sport programs for youth and adults.

Riverfest Regatta Deadline is September 5th

Clarksville, TN – The Riverfest Regatta, sponsored by U.S. Bank, is not your typical boat race. The boats racing down the Cumberland River Saturday morning, September 8th, will be made of cardboard, a few other approved materials and new this year, plastic bottles!
Not only will teams be racing for bragging rights, but trophies will also be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place teams in each division. [Read more]
