Kleeman Community Center to start New session of Olympic Style Archery

Clarksville, TN – A new session of Olympic Style Archery will begin March 19 at the Kleeman Community Center. Pre-registration is underway online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com.

Clarksville, TN – Are you interested in being a vendor in this year’s Downtown Market season?
The Clarksville Downtown Market is currently seeking vendors of all types; vendors selling local produce, dairy, honey, flowers, cheeses, meats, food products, baked goods/breads, artisan items are strongly encouraged to apply, but all applicants will be considered. All items must be handmade, homegrown or gathered by the seller or family member.
The 2013 market season will take place on Public Square, every Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, beginning May 18th through October 19th. [Read more]
APSU Culinary Students showcase talent at Chocolate Affair

Clarksville, TN – Students in the culinary degree program at the Austin Peay Center at Fort Campbell teamed up with the Fort Campbell culinary team for the recent Chocolate Affair community event organized by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department.
Together, both programs won the “Best Creative Use of Chocolate” Award at the event, which was sponsored by the City of Clarksville and held Saturday, February 9th at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.

Clarksville, TN – Whiskey Fudge, Brownies covered in Chocolate Chips, Chocolate Cherry Coke Float Cake, Banana Cake drizzled with Chocolate Ganache, Chocolate Donuts, and Double Dutch Chocolate Marshmallows were just some of the unique treats enjoyed by the sell out crowd that attended A Chocolate Affair at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center on Saturday night.
Chocolate lovers were able to enjoy a large selection of sweet and savory treats while listening to music provided by the Cumberland Winds Woodwind Quintent, a Solo Harpist, and a Jazz Combo.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is offering another session of the new program, the Cumberland Arts Experience, at the Kleeman Community Center located at 166 Cunningham Lane.
The Cumberland Arts Experience will be held Saturday, February 23rd and will teach basic painting skills as participants paint along with an instructor to create a piece of art they can take home with them. [Read more]

Clarksville, TN – More than 25 businesses are teaming up to offer Clarksville’s first-ever Chocolate Affair, scheduled to take place from 6:00pm to 9:00pm Saturday, February 9th at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.
This new event, presented by the City of Clarksville and Planters Bank, will feature sweet and savory treats from both local businesses as well as some National brands like Goo Goo Clusters, Lindt, and Dove.
