Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Hershey Track & Field program to begin April 18th

Competition to be held May 18th
Clarksville, TN – Young athletes can showcase their skills in track, long jump and softball throw in the 2013 Hershey Track & Field competition. This program is open to boys and girls ages 9 to 14 in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area.
Hershey Track & Field practices begin April 18th and will meet every Thursday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm at the Burt-Cobb Community Center, located at 1101 Franklin Street. [Read more]
Paralympic Sport Clarksville to host the Paralympic Experience

Clarksville, TN – Paralympic Sport Clarksville is excited to announce the first-ever Paralympic Experience to be held Saturday, March 9th at the Kleeman Community Center, located at 116 Cunningham Lane, from 10:00am until 3:00pm.
This event is open to youth and adults at least 8-years-old, including active duty service members and veterans, with physical and visual disabilities, regardless of skill level.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department hosts the next Cumberland Arts Experience at the Kleeman Center

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is offering another session of the new program, the Cumberland Arts Experience, at the Kleeman Community Center located at 166 Cunningham Lane.
Indoor Aquatic Center will be operate on a new schedule for the remainder of the season

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation would like to announce that the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, will begin closing at 6:00pm on Fridays beginning March 1st to allow for private pool rentals.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department now offering Lifeguard Certification to the public

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will offer its first Lifeguard Certification Course for non-staff participants seeking the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification.
This course will take place at the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, March 25th-29th from 2:00pm until 8:00pm.
Crow Community Center to host an additional session of Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Tai Chi program

Clarksville, TN – The Crow Community Center, located at 211 Richview Road, will host another session of Tai Chi for Arthritis and have even added an additional class time! Tai Chi for Arthritis will take place Tuesdays from 3:00pm to 4:00pm and 4:00pm to 5:00pm beginning March 26th. [Read more]
