Clarksville Parks and Recreation's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville has an announcement regarding the free outdoor showing of the PG-rated movie, “Brave” at Heritage Park this Saturday, July 27th.

The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is going to the dogs once again for the 3rd annual Pooch Pool Party on August 10th. Patrons and their pups are invited to join in on the Pooch Pool Party from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Swan Lake Pool, located at 2002 Sanders Road.

Volunteer mentors are needed for the upcoming Dream Chasers Group Mentoring Program.

Clarksville Sports FestivalClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation will be kicking off its third-annual Clarksville Sports Festival on Saturday, August 17th, at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center located within Liberty Park at 1188 Cumberland Drive, with a variety of sports, athletic and outdoor activities for the entire family.

Clarksville Sports Festival will take place from 10:00am to 3:00pm and is open to all ages. Cost of admission and participation is free.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Join Clarksville Parks and Recreation on Saturday, July 27th, at Heritage Park for the rescheduled Movies in the Park event, featuring the animated hit, “Brave,” which is rated PG.

“Brave” is about Princess Merida defying a custom that ends up bringing chaos to her kingdom. Merida uses her archery skills and bravery to undo the curse.
