Kleeman Community Center to host Martin Luther King Jr. Programs

Clarksville, TN – The Kleeman Community Center invites the public to join in celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on January 16th.
The Kleeman Center, 166 Cunningham Lane, will host a children’s program celebrating the life of Martin Luther King Jr. from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and again that evening, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. [Read more]

Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence closes temporarily due to vandalism

Clarksville, TN – The Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, will be closed until further notice. This closure is due to vandalism that occurred early Friday morning. The vandals have been apprehended and the facility will re-open after damages have been repaired.

Indoor Aquatic Center to extend “Dome Days” promotions

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce that the popular “Dome Days” promotion at the Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence will continue through February 29th!
The “Dome Days” promotion includes “Dollar Day” which enables all patrons to enjoy all-day access to the indoor pool for the price of $1.00 each Tuesday. The second half of the “Dome Days” promotion is “2-for-1 Day” in which patrons visiting the Indoor Aquatic Center on Thursdays will receive two all-day admissions for the price of one. [Read more]
Award entries are being sought for second annual Legends Award

Clarksville Parks & Recreation’s 2nd Annual Sports Festival is seeking exhibitors

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks & Recreation is seeking sports-related businesses and organizations interested in exhibiting at the 2nd Annual Clarksville Sports Festival. The all-day event celebrating the local sports and athletics community will take place March 17th, 2012 from 9:00am to 4:00pm at the APSU Foy Center.
Clarksville Sports Festival features demonstrations of a wide variety of sports, speakers from areas of sports and athletics as well as an exhibitor hall for all of Clarksville’s sports and athletic community to display what they have to offer.
