Clarksville Parks and Recreation to host new Battleship Canoe Games at Indoor Aquatic Center

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is excited to host the first-ever edition of Battleship Canoe at the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, on February 16th.
Similar to the board game, Battleship®, Battleship Canoe will feature teams of four young adults, seated in a canoe, attempting to sink other teams’ canoes using four buckets of water. [Read more]
Indoor Aquatic Center to host event just for toddlers

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is excited to host the first-ever Toddler Splash at the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, on February 6th. Kids ages 1 to 5-years-old can enjoy fun such as a water parade, penny hunt, water games, crafts and even a “fishing pond.” [Read more]

Volunteers needed for Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Dream Chasers Group Mentoring Program

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is seeking mentors. Volunteer mentors are needed for the upcoming Dream Chasers Group Mentoring Program.
Mentors will be working with at-risk youth, ages 13-17 in a small group atmosphere. Small group leaders, guided by professionals, will mentor youth as they discuss dealing with negative influences that affect teens and will promote making healthy and informed decisions. [Read more]
Crow Community Center offers Indoor Soccer for youth

Clarksville, TN – The Crow Community Center’s Indoor Soccer league kicks off January 5th! The 8-week league is open to ages 4-12 years and will teach the fundamentals of soccer.
Games will be held at the Crow Center, located at 211 Richview Road, every Saturday beginning January 5th. Ages 4-6 will play at 9:00am, ages 7-9 will play at 10:00am and ages 10-12 will play at 11:00am each week. [Read more]
New session of Olympic Style Archery to start at the Kleeman Community Center
