Clarksville, TN – CDE Lightband, the broadband services provided by the Clarksville Department of Electricity announces the addition of four new cable networks AND six new high definition networks to the Lightband HD channel lineup on April 1st, 2011.

Clarksville, TN – CDE Lightband, the broadband services provided by the Clarksville Department of Electricity announces the addition of six new high definition networks to the Lightband HD channel lineup on February 1st, 2011. The networks are being added to compliment the current standard definition network carried by CDE Lightband.
Beginning tomorrow, CDE Lightband customers who subscribe to HD services will be able to enjoy the following additions; Style HD on channel 908, E! Entertainment HD on channel 909, G4 HD on channel 913, Golf Channel HD on channel 918, Versus HD on channel 919 and Sprout HD on channel 936. [Read more]
Clarksville Department of Electricity Superintendent Announces New Hire

Clarksville, TN – CDE Superintendent Johnny Piper has hired Christie Hill as his Executive Assistant and Communications Director.
Hill has worked as the Communications Director and spokesperson for the City of Clarksville during Piper’s term as Mayor, and has an extensive media background from working more than 11 years in the Nashville Television industry. She will be an experienced and knowledgeable addition to the staff serving the customers of Clarksville Department of Electricity.
“I’m proud to have Christie join our team,” Piper said today. “Her experience in the media and Communications brings a skill set that’s essential to our operation. Having worked closely with Christie during my time as Mayor, I am certain she will help our team as we move towards making CDE better for our customers.”
