Clarksville’s Movies in the Park to show “Black Panther” this Saturday

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, July 13th, 2019, the City of Clarksville’s free outdoor movie series Movies in the Park will continue its 14th season with the showing of “Black Panther” at the Heritage Park soccer fields.
Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, will begin at 6:30pm and include a ping pong cannon firing demonstration by Austin Peay’s Bryan Gaither, lab manager for the Department of Physics, Engineering and Astronomy. Watch as plastic balls are fired more than 700 mph through cans, plywood and maybe even some fruit.
Sango Pharmacy Receives Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification

Montgomery County, TN – Sango Pharmacy is the first pharmacy in Clarksville to become Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certified.
City of Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan, Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett, Montgomery County Chief of Staff Jeff Truitt, City of Clarksville Chief of Administration Charlie Gentry, and Chamber of Commerce President Melinda Shepherd were there to congratulate the owner and employees of Sango Pharmacy.
Clarksville’s Riverfest closed out with Tracy Lawrence on the Miller Lite Stage

Clarksville, TN – The final day of the 2014 Riverfest Festival started like the day before but with a steady wind mitigating the worst effects of the heat.
Crowds started arriving early for the festival with the kickoff of the Riverfest Regatta, and action on the various stages beginning simultaneously.
Bruce and Karen Gundling were enjoying the sights and sounds of the festival with their son Trey. They had traveled to Riverfest all the way from Ottawa Canada.
