Clarksville, TN – Hank Bonecutter, President of the Clarksville Sports Network, has announced that his radio station, 1400AM WJZM, will broadcast the Clarksville High School Lady Wildcats basketball games. CHS begins play Thursday morning at 10:00am, and all of the exciting action of the game between Memphis Central and Clarksville High School will air on Clarksville’s exclusive news, talk, and sports radio station. Clarksville Montgomery County School System names new Clarksville High School Principal

Montgomery County, TN – Jean Luna, who has served as assistant principal at Clarksville High, has been appointed by Schools Director Mike Harris as the new CHS principal.
“To be appointed principal of Clarksville High School is a great honor. The history and traditions connected with CHS make it a very special place within the community. I’m excited to work collectively with students, parents, faculty, staff, and stakeholders to continue the excellence associated with being a Wildcat,” Mrs. Luna said.
Charity Soccer Match to Benefit Camp Rainbow

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday September 24th, 2011 there will be a charity soccer match between the Clarksville High Lady Wildcats and the Rossivew Lady Hawks to help raise money for Camp Rainbow. The game will kick off at 7:00pm at Clarksville High School. Admission is only $5.00 with all the proceeds from the gate being donated to Camp Rainbow.
Jeff Major, who is the soccer coach for Clarksville High School, has put this event together along with Bikers who Care and Camp Rainbow. Melinda Kelly-Rich, from Reliant Reality, helped Coach Major organize the event. [Read more]

Kenwood Middle School Administrator Change Announced
Bart Dixon has been appointed principal of Kenwood Middle School, replacing Frank Wilson who today announced his acceptance of the assistant principalship at Kenwood High School.
Dixon was named assistant principal of West Creek High School in February 2009. He previously served five years as band director and after-school program site director at Richview Middle School.
Dixon has served as a music educator on the elementary, middle and high school levels in Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools and schools in Paducah and Hopkinsville, Kentucky. [Read more]
