Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – On Saturday, March 16th, Clarksville Parks and Recreation held their 4th annual Wettest Egg Hunts at the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane.

The swimming pool and wading pool had thousands of scattered eggs for the kids to jump in and get for candy and prizes.

Indoor Aquatic Center - New ProvidenceClarksville, TN – It might have been cold outside, but inside the Indoor Aquatic Center it was warm and festive Saturday, March 28th for Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s 4th annual Wettest Egg Hunts.

There were thousands of colored eggs scattered in the swimming pool and wading pool for children to jump in and get for candy and prizes.

Open Call for Booth Space at Fright on Franklin, City of Clarskville’s Halloween Festival

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – Fright on Franklin, the City’s annual Halloween festival will take place on Saturday, October 25th, in Downtown Clarksville from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.

At this time, Clarksville Parks and Recreation is accepting applications from area businesses that would like to participate by distributing candy.

Austin Peay State University Phi Kappa Phi chapter awarded literacy grant

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi (PKP)—the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines—recently presented John Blake, Austin Peay State University associate professor of engineering technology, with a 2014 Literacy Grant. Blake, president of APSU’s PKP chapter, is one of 14 recipients nationwide to receive the award.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation has once again partnered with Sango Pool & Spa to host two not-so-typical egg hunts.

On Saturday, March 23rd, thousands of colored eggs will be floating or sunk in the center’s pools, each good for candy and prizes.

Clarksville Fox vs. Knockouts in Women’s Football Saturday

Clarksville FoxClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Fox woman’s full contact football team is coming off of a two game winning streak on the road and will be hosting the North Texas Knockouts Saturday June 11th at 7:00pm at Northwest High School.

This will be the Fox’s last game of the season and so tell all your friends and come out to see the game.
