Trinity Episcopal Parish holds Fall Festival

Trinity Episcopal ParishClarksville, TN – On Saturday, November 5th, 2016 the Trinity Episcopal Parish held their annual Fall Festival from 10:00am until 3:00pm. The event was filled with activities, crafts, shopping, food. It was a good time for families and the local community.

The petting zoo allowed children to feed and pet animals like a lama, pig, etc. Pony rides were also available. There was also face painting, crafts, games of skill and more.

Crafts for the kids was just one of the activities at the Fall Festival held by Trinity Episcopal Parish.

Benefit for Tammy Mickle to be held Saturday, June 4th

BenefitClarksville, TN – On Saturday, June 4th, there will be a fundraiser for Tammy Mickle at the old Cumberland Heights Gym. There will be music, a food cake walk, silent auction, bounce house, face painting, vendors and more.

You can also buy BBQ plate tickets for $10.00.

Tammy Mickle is the wife of James Mickle a County employee. She has NASH-Non-alcholic Steatohepatitis, where the liver is inflamed and damaged caused by a build up of fat in the liver.

Montgomery Central High School Football Fall Festival draws larger than expected crowd

Montgomery Central High SchoolClarksville, TN – On Saturday, September 14th, the Montgomery Central High School Football Boosters held their 1st annual Fall Festival at Hilltop Supermarket.

The festival was held to raise money for the MCHS Football team. The money will be used for equipment, jerseys, and other team needs.

“The event was amazing. The turn out was phenomenal. I was really not expecting this many people and this many kids,” stated Indians Football head coach Jeff Tomlinson. “I thought it was a great turn out.”

Cunningham Volunteer Fire DepartmentCunningham, TN – On Saturday, February 25th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, the Cunningham Volunteer Fire Department held their Annual Chili Supper at Montgomery Central Middle School. Over 400 people were served chili, cornbread, and dessert by volunteers.

Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan introduces Summer Night Lights Program

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan, in conjunction with the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department and the Clarksville Police Department, is introducing a new program for youth and their families. Summer Night Lights is an eight week program, which will run from June 14th through August 3rd on Thursday and Friday nights.

The program will take place at two locations. On Thursdays, the event will be held at the Kleeman Community Center, 166 Cunningham Lane, from 6:00pm–9:30pm. On Friday evenings, it will take place at the Burt-Cobb Community Center/Dixon Park, 1011 Franklin Street, from 6:00pm–10:30pm. [Read more]
