Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation Facilities’ Hours to Change in Observance of upcoming Holidays

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s three community centers will adjust their hours of operation this December to accommodate students in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and their holiday schedule.
The Kleeman, Crow and Burt-Cobb Centers will be open from 10:00am to 7:00pm beginning Friday, December 19th and ending Friday, January 2nd, 2015 as students will be out of school for the holiday break. [Read more]

Clarksville Parks and Recreation to close Commuity Centers temporarily for annual maintenance and flooring upgrades

Youth Graduate from LEAP Etiquette Course

Clarksville, TN – Youth enrolled in the LEAP Leadership and Life Skills Program had an opportunity to participate in a 10 week etiquette course by Lori Austin at the Leap Plaza. Participants learned valuable lessons in professional attitudes, handshakes, posture, hygiene, dressing for success, proper communication, manners, and habits.
Through the interactive lessons that engaged participants, several students reported an increase in self-esteem. “I feel better prepared to speak with adults and confident that I would be able to do well on an interview.” Commented Jalen Jackson
Youth Dodgeball League returns for another season at Clarksville’s Crow Community Center

Manna Café Hosts Thanksgiving Day Dinner

Clarksville, TN – Manna Café Ministries will host its fifth annual Thanksgiving dinner at Burt-Cobb Community Center (1011 Franklin Street) on Thanksgiving Day. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm.

Clarksville, TN – The Kleeman, Crow and Burt-Cobb community centers will be closed Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th for the Thanksgiving holiday.
