Clarksville Parks and Recreation to start Adaptive Yoga in July

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the launch of a new program! Beginning Thursday July 10th, The Burt-Cobb Community Center will host Adaptive Yoga.
Adaptive Yoga is a beginner yoga class for those members of the community with cognitive disabilities.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Dreamchasers program to host end-of-the-year Dreamchasers Olympics

Clarksville Parks and Recreation facilities observe Memorial Day Holiday

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office, located at 102 Public Square will be closed Monday, May 26th for the Memorial Day holiday.
The Kleeman, Crow and Burt-Cobb Community Centers will also be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. [Read more]
Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Summer Youth Program begins June 2nd

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department Summer Youth Program will begin June 2nd with the opening of program sites and will end July 11th. This year’s theme is “Pumping up with Summer Fun!”
Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Hershey Track & Field program begins April 3rd

Competition to be held May 10th
Clarksville, TN – Young athletes can showcase their skills in track, long jump and softball throw in the 2014 Hershey Track & Field competition. This program is open to boys and girls ages 9 to 14 in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area.
Events for both boys and girls will be the long jump and softball throw as well as running competitions.
