Austin Peay State University alumna Licciardi releases debut book of poetry, “Skin Splitting”

Clarksville, TN – Bryanna Licciardi, a 2011 Austin Peay State University alumna, once went on a boring date with infamous serial killer John Wayne Gacy.
“Towards the end of my Master of Fine Arts program in Boston, I fell asleep one night watching a documentary about (Gacy),” Licciardi said. “Not your typical bedtime story, I know, but I have a horror hobby.
APSU hosts 16th annual Bread and Words Reading on November 23rd

Clarksville, TN – To help usher in the Thanksgiving holiday, the Austin Peay State University Department of Languages and Literature will host the 16th annual Bread and Words Benefit to raise public awareness of hunger in the local community.
The event will start with the serving of a simple meal of soup and bread at 6:00pm, Tuesday, November 23rd in the Morgan University Center Ballroom, followed by a 7:00pm reading. A donation of $5.00 for the Salvation Army is requested at the door.
