Clarksville, TN – March marks the annual exhibition time for the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center’s celebration of Women’s History Month. Each year curator Terri Jordan creates an invitational show under a themed subject matter.
For 2019, the theme is with the creators not the art. “The idea came to me after having a conversation with some very accomplished female artists during a reception,” said Jordan
Annual Women’s History Month Exhibition at Customs House Museum

Clarksville, TN – Each year the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center features the art of women in celebration of Women’s History Month. This year, Tennessee women artisans are showcased in the newly renovated Kimbrough Gallery. The exhibit, titled A Woman’s Touch, includes sculpture, jewelry, clothing, furniture, printmaking, and ceramics.
Participating in the exhibit are artists Kim Winkle, Anne Rob, Claudia Lee, Susan DeMay, Jeanie Stephenson, Jennifer Knowles, Virginia Fisher, Jennifer Crescuillo, Vicki Vipperman, Brenda Stein, and Melina Ludwig.
