Infinity Dance Fitness Academy conducts First Annual Dance Camp

Clarksville, TN – The Infinity Dance Fitness Academy (IDFA) conducted its first one-week dance camp July 27th-31st, 2015 at the Emmanuel Family Life Center. The IDFA Dance Camp was fun and exciting for the campers while creating a positive and empowering environment which allowed the campers to explore the art of dance i.
The 1st Annual IDFA Dance Camp had thirty campers ages 5-17. The campers received instruction in several disciplines of dance to include ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, belly dance and liturgical. Campers also participated in daily group sessions which focused on life skills and issues that our youth face in school and with their peers to include Gang Violence; Bullying; Drug, Alcohol and Tobacco prevention; Nutrition and Obesity; and Goal setting.
Shimmy and Twist into Fitness with Belly Dancing Class

Fort Campbell, KY – Dancing has many qualities that can improve both mental and physical health. Join the instructors at ESTEP Wellness Center for Belly Dancing class. Participants in the belly dancing class will learn the art of beginning dance vocabulary, Middle Eastern dance rhythms, isolations of the chest, hips, and torso, basic dance combinations and beginner level choreography. They will put everything they have learned together for a performance at the end of the six week class.
The belly dancing class will meet at 7:30am every Wednesday from October 20th through December 8th. $45.00 covers the cost of the program.

The sweet smell of the Hookah returns to Clarksville

Nasir Hakeem, the owner of Tandoor Indian Restaurant is making a place that adult smokers (over 21) in Clarksville can appreciate; a place Downtown they can go to relax, and socially smoke. “I want to bring more people into downtown Clarksville, and at the same time expand the cultural diversity that our community has to offer people looking to relocate into the area.” said Hakeem.
The business is strategically located at 138 University Blvd, the former location of Retro’s Arcade; just a short walk from the Austin Peay State University main campus, and in close proximity to University Landing Apartments. The hookah bar will open on Friday June 25th 2010, with a grand opening/ribbon cutting is planned for July 1st.
