Clarksville, TN – The Office of Student Affairs at Austin Peay State University honored leadership and service by individual students, student organizations, faculty and staff at its annual Student Organization and Leader Awards Program on April 11th.

APSU gearing up for Dance Marathon to benefit Children’s Miracle Network

Clarksville, TN – For several hours, students at Austin Peay State University will dance the night away, while lending a helping hand, at the annual Dance Marathon.
The event, which benefits the Children’s Miracle Network, will begin at 6:00pm, Friday, February 8th in the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center on APSU’s campus. [Read more]
APSU Leadership Honor Society recognized as one of the nation’s top chapters

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society was recently named the recipient of the ODK Superior Circle Award at the society’s national convention in Charlotte, NC.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that the APSU circle has been recognized for continued leadership within the society.

APSU Students part of new service learning program for International Projects

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University recently launched the inaugural APSU Goes Global program, an international service-learning opportunity now open to juniors in the President’s Emerging Leaders Program (PELP) and TRiO Student Support Services.
APSU Goes Global is led by Dr. Matthew Kenney, director of the President’s Emerging Leaders Program and associate professor of political science.

Clarksville, TN – The annual Dance Marathon at Austin Peay State University, held September 23rd in the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center, netted nearly $5,600 for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville.
A check to the Children’s Hospital was made October 5th on the APSU campus.
