Clarksville, TN – Are you ready to heat up the pool during these cold months? Clarksville Parks and Recreation is introducing Aqua Zumba®! The program blends the Zumba® philosophy with water resistance to create a pool party you don’t want to miss!
“We’re hosting this launch party in hopes that there’s enough interest for a full program,” says Kimberly Gilbert, Aquatics Superintendent for Clarksville Parks and Recreation. “We know how popular Zumba® is, and it only gets better when you can be in a pool.”

Clarksville’s Indoor Aquatic Center opens for the season with new Climbing Wall feature

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department invites you to enjoy the Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, this fall and winter! The Indoor Aquatic Center opens its doors for the Indoor Season on Monday, October 1st.
Enjoy a day of free admission, refreshments and free Wibit and Aqua Climb access on Opening Day from 7:00am to 12:00pm and 3:00pm until 8:00pm.

Clarksville, TN – Enjoy the Zumba classes you love, with a splash, Aqua Zumba is back! The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will have Aqua Zumba classes in two locations this summer.
Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Beachaven Pool, located at 390 Gaylewood Drive, at 5:00pm beginning June 5th as well as on Wednesdays at the New Providence Pool, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, at 8:00am beginning June 6th. [Read more]

Indoor Aquatic Center offers fun during Holiday Breaks

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department invites kids and parents to enjoy the Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, during the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System’s holiday breaks!
This Wednesday, November 23rd, the indoor swimming facility will be having its weekly “Wibit Wednesday” featuring “The Aqua Run” floating obstacle course. Cost of admission is just $3.00 per person, plus a $2.00 wristband for all day Wibit access.

Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence opens for the season

Clarksville, TN – Don’t miss the first day of Indoor Swimming Season this Saturday, October 1st! The Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, opens its doors for the season at 10:00am.
Patrons can check out the Indoor Aquatic Center, also referred to as “The Dome”, for free on opening day! The Dome will also debut the “Aqua Run” wibit, a floating inflatable obstacle course, on opening day. [Read more]
