Homecoming is October 24th-27th. Here is a list of events planned as part of the week long celebration. Many of the events are open to the public.

Some of the events include a Student Talent Show, Golf Tournament, Alumni Receptions, 5K Run, Homecoming Parade, Homecoming Football game and so much more.

High School Students attending AP Day October 6th get a chance to win $3,000 Austin Peay State University Scholarship

Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – High school students interested in attending Austin Peay State University will get the opportunity to see the campus first hand and possibly win a $3,000 scholarship during the University’s AP Day on Saturday October 6th.

Students who qualify for unconditional admission to APSU for the Fall 2013 semester are eligible for the scholarship drawing. The submission of their AP Day evaluation form will serve as their ticket for the drawing, and the winner will be announced during that evening’s football game against rival Murray State. Austin Peay State UniversityAmerican Cancer Society for Breast Cancer ResearchClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s football coaching staff will host the fourth-annual Women’s Football Clinic, Saturday, July 23rd in the Dunn Center.

For the fourth-straight year, APSU has served as host to the clinic that features informative presentations by the coaching staff as-well-as an entertaining hands-on demonstration of some fun football drills, explanation of the rules by an OVC Official, equipment, nutrition, training and strategy. APSU head coach Rick Christophel, along with his assistant coaches, will provide instruction.

Austin Peay State University GovernorsClarksville, TN – With Austin Peay State University’s football season just around the corner, the Athletics Department is now taking 2011 Tailgate Alley registration forms.

The Govs kick off the 2011 season with a pair of road games – September 3rd at Cincinnati and September 17th at Memphis – before the home schedule begins with a September 24th, Ohio Valley Conference game against Eastern Kentucky.
