Austin Peay State University honors exemplary professors during Annual Honors and Awards Ceremony

Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday afternoon, Austin Peay State University recognized five professors with the highest distinctions awarded to faculty members during the University’s annual Honors and Awards Ceremony.
Dr. Mary Lou Witherspoon, professor of mathematics, was named the recipient of the 2012 APSU Alumni Association Distinguished Professor Award. The award is presented annually to a faculty member or department chairperson who has completed a minimum of four years of full-time teaching at Austin Peay. [Read more]
APSU awards coveted Distinguished Professor honor to Bert Randall at annual Honors and Awards Day ceremony

Clarksville, TN – During Austin Peay State University’s Honors and Awards Ceremony on April 26th, Dr. Bert Randall, professor of philosophy, received the 2011 APSU National Alumni Association’s Distinguished Professor Award.
Randall holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from the university of Oklahoma. He has a B.S. in mathematics from Maryville College, a Master of Divinity in theology from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and a Master of Arts. [Read more]
