New APSU vice president to speak at University’s Military and Veteran Graduate Recognition Ceremony August 8th

Clarksville, TN – Retired Lt. Gen Ronald Bailey, Austin Peay State University vice president for external affairs, will be the guest speaker at APSU’s Summer 2018 Military and Veteran Graduate Recognition Ceremony this August.
The ceremony, set for 5:00pm on August 8th, 2018 in the APSU Morgan University Center, honors the University’s graduating students who are either veterans, active-duty military personnel, reservists or members of the National Guard.

APSU to graduate record 1,000-plus students May 4th

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University will award degrees to 1,075 students – the largest class in APSU history – during its 83rd Spring Commencement on Friday, May 4th in the Dunn Center.
More students are graduating from APSU because of the University’s increased efforts to offer students more opportunities to finish their degrees faster. One of those opportunities is APSU’s new Winter Term, which launched in December 2011. Some of the students will be able to graduate May 4th because they took a course during Winter Term. [Read more]
Austin Peay Graduating Military Students to receive new APSU Coin

Clarksville, TN – Active duty military students who will graduate from Austin Peay State University next week will be the first class to receive APSU’s new military coin.
The inaugural military graduate recognition and coin presentation ceremony, with the theme “All Hail to Those Who Serve,” is scheduled for 5:00pm, Wednesday, December 14th in the Music/Mass Communication Building Concert Hall.
The event is open to the public.
