General public tickets now available for APSU Homecoming concert featuring Frankie Ballard

Clarksville, TN – General public tickets are now available for a concert featuring platinum recording artist Frankie Ballard, with special guest Jason Mizelle.
The event, presented by the APSU Govs Programming Council (GPC), is a part of 2016 Austin Peay State University Homecoming.

Clarksville, TN – As a part of the 2016 Austin Peay State University Homecoming week of events, the APSU Govs Programming Council (GPC) presents a concert featuring platinum recording artist Frankie Ballard, featuring special guest Jason Mizelle.
The concert takes place Thursday, October 20th, at 7:00pm in the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center on the University campus. Tickets are $10.00 for students until October 2nd and $20.00 for students after October 3rd, and may be purchased online at www.austinpeaytickets.com
Comedian, actor Loni Love to perform at APSU

Clarksville, TN – Comedian and actor Loni Love, named among the top 10 comics to watch by both Variety and Comedy Central networks, will perform stand-up comedy this month at Austin Peay State University.
The event, free and open to the public, will begin at 7:00pm, Monday, March 21st in Clement Auditorium. The show is sponsored by APSU’s Student Life and Leadership and the Govs Programming Council. [Read more]
Astronaut Jon McBride to speak at APSU

A former NASA astronaut will be at Austin Peay State University in late January to speak of his space exploration experiences.
Retired Capt. Jon A. McBride will present a talk at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 28 in the Morgan University Center, ballrooms B and C. The public is invited to attend. There is no charge. McBride’s appearance is sponsored by the APSU Govs Programming Council.
Selected as an astronaut candidate by NASA in January 1978, McBride became an astronaut in August 1979. His NASA assignments have included lead chase pilot for the maiden voyage of Columbia and pilot of STS 41-G, which launched from Kennedy Space Center on Oct. 5, 1984, aboard the Orbiter Challenger.
