Clarksville, TN – In response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Office of Academic Affairs recently announced changes to the University’s academic calendar for the Fall 2020 semester.
APSU tops 11,000 students for first time in University history

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) is now 11,000 strong. More so actually. During a special celebration Wednesday morning, the University unveiled its official fall 2019 enrollment numbers, and Austin Peay’s 11,048 students represent another record year for the University.
Fort Campbell’s 744th Ordnance Company Lends a Helping Hand to Friends of Dunbar Cave

Clarksville, TN – In March, the 744th Ordnance Company (EOD) part of the 52 Ordnance Group (EOD) from Fort Campbell, along with members of the Tennessee Trails Association, volunteered over 50 man hours and removed 400 lbs. of cinder blocks, 300 lbs. of tires, 200 lbs. of metal and over 50 lbs. of trash. Platoon leader, Lt. Chris Weber stated, “We worked our butts off.” He added “Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves.”
Friends Group President, Lionel Senseney is grateful for the community’s effort to help the Friends Group and expand our park. “What an effort!” Lionel said, “Many thanks to everyone that is helping.”
Warriors rehabilitate with Wheelchair Basketball at the Kleeman Center

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department and the Warrior Transition Unit Occupational Therapy Clinic hosted a Wheelchair Basketball exhibition game on Wednesday, November 9th at the Kleeman Center.
Players in the league are all soldiers in the Warrior Transition Unit at Fort Campbell. All of them have sustained a significant injury and are currently rehabilitating. The Kleeman Center will be hosting another exhibition game on Monday, November 21st from 1:00pm to 2:30 pm.
