Community School of the Arts at APSU offers first weekend workshop, opens spring registration

Austin Peay State University Community School for the ArtsClarksville, TN – The Community School of the Arts (CSA) at Austin Peay State University last month offered its first-ever one-day weekend workshop. And because of the workshop’s success, the school hopes to offer more soon.

CSA officials also announced open registration for classes this spring. The deadline to register is Friday, January 29th, 2021. Spring classes begin during the first week in February.

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – When the coronavirus pandemic forced Austin Peay State University (APSU) Professor Leni Dyer to stay home in mid-March, she wanted to find a way to help during the crisis.

“My first instinct was how can I help, what can I do other than just sitting at home waiting for this to end?” Dyer said. “What can I do to help people?”
