APSU alumna establishes Jackson-Hardin Education Endowed Scholarship for APSU students

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) alumna Dr. Carlette Hardin recently made a generous donation to the Austin Peay State University Foundation to establish the Jackson-Hardin Education Endowed Scholarship for APSU students.
The scholarship was created in memory of Hardin’s parents, Carl and Cora Belle Jackson.
Austin Peay State University Chamber Singers to embark on March tour of Tennessee, Georgia

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s premiere choral ensemble – the Chamber Singers – will showcase their talents in Tennessee and Georgia during their 2017 tour this March.
“Our Chamber Singers have been preparing for this tour since the first day of classes back in August of 2016,” Dr. Korre Foster, director of choral activities at Austin Peay, said.
Colleagues and former students looking to honor APSU pioneer Betty Joe Wallace

Clarksville, TN – The late Betty Joe Wallace taught history at Austin Peay State University for almost 40 years, and many of her former students and colleagues praise her as a pioneer who helped create a more progressive campus.
“She was the first cigar-smoking feminist I ever met,” Dr. Carlette Hardin, dean of the APSU Martha Dickerson Eriksson College of Education, said.
APSU 2016 Alumni Trips to include Italy, Germany and France

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University National Alumni Association recently announced it will host two international trips in the summer of 2016. Next summer’s Alumni Travel program will allow alumni and friends of APSU to watch the sunset in scenic Tuscany and sample wines in Germany and France.
The APSU Alumni Office is hosting an informational meeting on these trips at 6:00pm on September 29th, in room 308 of the APSU Morgan University Center. The meeting is open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided. [Read more]
APSU Alumni Association’s New membership card brings perks to members

If you’re a graduate of Austin Peay State University, the APSU National Alumni Association wants you to make room for another piece of plastic – a new, alumni membership card.
