Customs House Museum and Cultural Center starts Winter set of Art Exhibitions

Clarksville, TN – The Customs House Museum and Cultural Center has several new art exhibits coming to the galleries this winter. Visitors will be pleasantly surprised by the wide range of themes, mediums and style showcased in the shows.
Anne Goetze, portrait artist Chantel Barber and many Tennessee-based watercolor artists will all be featured in the upcoming months.

Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, January 28th, Champagne and Chocolate is back for its seventh installment to benefit the Customs House Museum. Doors open at 5:30pm at the Museum.

Clarksville’s Customs House Museum Offers Opportunity to Artists

Clarksville, TN – The Customs House Museum is offering artists in Tennessee and Kentucky an opportunity to exhibit in the Planters Bank Peg Harvill Gallery. The open call will give ten regional artists a one month show in 2016.
The call is open to both 2D and 3D works. Prospectuses are available on the museum website as well as in the museum lobby.

Clarksville, TN – The Monestere de la Visitationhon and the small order of nuns who reside there are the subject matter of the new exhibit in the Customs House Museum’s Planters Bank Peg Harvill Gallery.
The artist, Anne Goetze, began going to the Monastery to visit her aunt Helen.
