Austin Peay State University Choral Department hosting 2nd Annual Holiday Dinner

Clarksville, TN – The maximum amount you can contribute to a traditional IRA or Roth IRA in 2012 remains at $5,000 (or 100% of your earned income, if less), unchanged from 2011.
The maximum catch-up contribution for those age 50 or older remains at $1,000. (You can contribute to both a traditional and Roth IRA in 2012, but your total contributions can’t exceed this annual limit.) [Read more]

Raymond C Hand Pass pedestrian bridge to re-open
Clarksville, TN – The Raymond C. Hand Pass pedestrian bridge, located at the left side of the Pollard Road Trailhead of the Clarksville Greenway is scheduled to reopen to the public Saturday, November 5th.
The City of Clarksville temporarily closed the pedestrian bridge back in March of this year after slope failures occurred at both ends of the bridge. [Read more]
Yard Sale, Bake Sale and Raffel To Benefit the Children of the BWC 5
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, November 5th, The Bikers Who Care Ladies Auxiliary is sponsoring a Yard Sale at the BWC Clubhouse to Benefit the Children of the BWC 5 who were lost on 9-18-2011 due to accidental Carbon Monoxide Poisioning.

Volunteer Stars Nominations Needed
Montgomery County, TN – Nominations for the Fourth Annual Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards are now being accepted within Montgomery County. The awards will celebrate the efforts of volunteers who strive to improve their communities through service.
One youth and one adult will be selected in Montgomery County to receive this prestigious award. Nominees will be judged based on the community’s needs of the volunteer service performed, initiative taken to perform the service, creativity used to solve a community problem and impact of the volunteer service on the community.
