Clarksville’s Kleeman Community Center to host spring cycle of its popular fitness class

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The Kleeman Community Center will continue its Fun Interval Training program in 2015. F.I.T.’s second session ends on January 15th, but will start back up for a third round on January 26th, continuing through March 26th at the Kleeman Community Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane.

The class will meet Monday through Friday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Each day of the week focuses on a different muscle group and cardio activity to get your blood pumping and burn those calories! [Read more]

APSU’s program was ranked among the top 63 graduate management programs in the United States.

I am adding another need to the list for our community. We have 20 senior citizens who are residents of the Lincoln Homes neighborhood and are in need of blankets in advance of the colder weather ahead

Youth Graduate from LEAP Etiquette Course

LEAP OrganizationClarksville, TN – Youth enrolled in the LEAP Leadership and Life Skills Program had an opportunity to participate in a 10 week etiquette course by Lori Austin at the Leap Plaza. Participants learned valuable lessons in professional attitudes, handshakes, posture, hygiene, dressing for success, proper communication, manners, and habits.

Through the interactive lessons that engaged participants, several students reported an increase in self-esteem. “I feel better prepared to speak with adults and confident that I would be able to do well on an interview.” Commented Jalen Jackson
