“HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical” plays the Roxy Regional Theatre, June 14th – June 29th
Clarksville, TN – Come down to the Roxy Regional Theatre this summer and join the tribe of the Age of Aquarius and celebrate the sixties counterculture in all its barefoot, long-haired, bell-bottomed, beaded and fringed glory at the corner of Franklin and First in Historic Downtown Clarksville.
HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical opens at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Friday, June 14th, at 8:00pm. In keeping with the theatre’s traditional pay-what-you-can opening night, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular price will go on sale at 7:30pm that evening for a $5.00 minimum donation.
Dunbar Cave State Park, Port Royal State Historic Park to hold National Trails Day Hikes, June 1st
Nashville, TN – On Saturday, June 1st, 2019, Tennessee State Parks will celebrate National Trails Day with free guided hikes at all 56 state parks. Dunbar Cave State Park and Port Royal State Historic Park will be holding hikes led by park rangers.
This will be the third of the state parks’ signature hikes this year, following First Day Hikes in January and Spring Hikes in March. Thus far, 4,787 park visitors have participated in the hikes.
Mayor’s Summer Night Lights offers free fun
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville youths are invited by Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts to join in a summer program filled with fun activities and free food designed to help them fight summertime boredom.
The seventh season of the Mayor’s Summer Night Lights program will kick off June 3rd and continue at various locations throughout the summer with DJs, athletic competitions, arts and crafts, local music performances, and more.
Military Family Clinic Looking to Shine a Spotlight on Local Artists
Clarksville, TN – The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone is calling all veteran and military family member artists to be a part of its one-year celebration. The clinic, which provides low-cost mental health care to Veterans and their loved ones officially opened its doors in Clarksville, Tennessee last summer. Now, in honor of its anniversary, staff members are hoping to celebrate in an artistic fashion.
Old Glory Distilling Co. Friday Night Live Summer Concert Series kicks off June 7th
Clarksville, TN – Old Glory Distilling Co. has announced their upcoming summer concert series, “Friday Night Live”. If you’re looking for new and exciting entertainment this summer, you don’t have to go far. This family-friendly series will begin on June 7th, 2019 and run monthly through September.

Customs House Museum & Cultural Center Remembers D-Day with New Exhibition
Clarksville, TN – In recognition of the upcoming 75th anniversary, the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center has brought out artifacts from its collection, supplemented by items from private collectors. The exhibition displayed in the museum’s Memory Lane gallery includes both American and German artifacts.
One of the largest amphibious military assaults in history was the D-day invasion.

Clarksville Police Union held “Cops and Bobbers”, Saturday
Clarksville, TN – The annual “Cops and Bobbers” sponsored by the Clarksville Police Union #18 was held on Saturday, May 18th, 2019. The weather was perfect for the event.
There were approximately 50 children who came out and enjoyed an opportunity to fish in the Liberty Park pond. Each of the children were given a fishing pole, tackle, and bait to try out their fishing skills.
Tilted Kilt to hold All Star Meet and Greet with Branscombe Richmand, May 23rd
Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, May 23rd, 2019, the Tilted Kilt in Clarksville will host an All Star Meet and Greet with movie and tv star Branscombe Richmond at the pub beginning at 8:00pm.
The Meet and Greet will include autographs and pictures with Branscombe, his band members and other celebrity guest stars.
Other invited stars include Martin Klebba of Pirates of the Caribbean, Charlene Tilton of Dallas, Kathleen Kinmont of Renegade, Wade Williams of Prison Break and many more.

Legends Bank presents the beloved award-winning musical Disney’s “Alice In Wonderland, Jr.” at the Roxy Regional Theatre, May 17th through June 8th.
Performed by sixty-one local youth, ages 10 to 18, from the Roxy Regional School of the Arts, this fast-paced take on the classic tale was adapted by David Simpatico from the 1951 Disney film and the novels by Lewis Carroll.
