William Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet” plays the Roxy Regional Theatre, November 8th – 16th
Clarksville, TN – The Bard of Avon’s enduring masterpiece of love and conflict is coming to the Roxy Regional Theatre at the corner of Franklin Street and First Street in Historic Downtown Clarksville this fall.
William Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet” opens at the Roxy Regional Theatre this Friday, November 8th, at 8:00pm. In keeping with the theatre’s traditional pay-what-you-can opening night, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular price will go on sale at 7:30pm Friday evening for a $5.00 minimum donation.

Gateway Chamber Orchestra to perform family concert at APSU George & Sharon Mabry Concert Hall, November 17th
Clarksville, TN – Gateway Chamber Orchestra will host their annual Family Concert, ‘The Nutcracker Suite with Anna Celenza.’ on Sunday, November 17th, at 3:00pm Children’s pre-concert activities begin at 2:00pm.

Instead of a simple concert, Foster envisioned having his student singers perform while attendees enjoyed a formal, sit-down dinner.

Clarksville Park and Recreation’s Fright on Franklin provides Halloween Family Fun
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s annual Fright on Franklin was a huge success, with thousands coming out to enjoy great weather, cute costumes and seemingly endless buckets of candy.
This year’s activities were rescheduled for Sunday, which turned out to be a great move, as areas of Clarksville were devastated by strong winds that moved through Montgomery County Saturday afternoon.
About 70 tents were lined up along Franklin Street, Public Square, First Street and Strawberry Alley, from which costumed volunteers from local businesses and organizations handed out treats from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Lone Oak Baptist Church Trunk or Treat, Fall Festival
Cunningham, TN – On Thursday, October 31st, 2019, the Lone Oak Baptist Church will be hosting Trunk or Treat and a Fall Festival. The events will begin at 5:30pm and go until 8:30pm.
Everyone is invited to come out for a family friendly Trunk or Treat event and Fall Festival. It will be a fun night of candy, inflatables, games and more.

Kings Bluff Brewery, Dunbar Cave State Park create Dunbar Draught
Clarksville, TN – Kings Bluff Brewery has been working on a project with their friends at Dunbar Cave State Park, and @tennesseestateparks on Meet the Dunbar Draught!
It’s a black lager, fermented in the depths of Clarksville’s best known cave, Dunbar Cave. This small batch will be spun up into a large batch, with a portion of proceeds going to the Friends of Dunbar Cave Foundation to raise awareness and help with cave upkeep.
