Clarksville-Montgomery County Veterans Day Parade joins with APSU Homecoming Parade for one spectacular event
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s 2019 Veterans Day Parade was even bigger than usual as it was merged with the Austin Peay State University (APSU) annual Homecoming Parade, an occurrence that happens once every five years.
Thousands, who gathered on the streets of Downtown Clarksville Saturday morning to celebrate, were treated to approximately 150 parade entries, ranging from APSU’s Homecoming Court to Veterans groups, First Responders, marching band and more.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is offering a variety of festive and fun events this holiday season.
Family-friendly events are affordably priced and will take place at several Parks and Recreation facilities.
Some of the events include: Veterans Appreciation Day, Community Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas on the Cumberland, Elf Splash, Clarksville Christmas Parade, 19th Century Christmas along with several new events.

Clarksville, TN – Manna Café founders Kenny and Vicki York invite the community to join them in celebrating the release of Vicki’s second book, Created for Fearlessness.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces annual Christmas Parade to be held December 7th
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department announces that on Saturday, December 7th, the 60th annual Christmas parade, hosted by the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government, will be at 5:00pm in Downtown Clarksville.
The family of the late Mike Robinson, wife Rhonda Robinson and children Bryce, Bayleigh and Carly Robinson, will be this year’s grand marshals. Mike Robinson passed in August from cancer. He was a popular local musician, coach and most importantly a husband and father.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation to hold Handmade Holiday, November 9th-10th
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation will host Handmade Holidays, a two-day, indoor juried craft market featuring more than 60 of the best local and independent artists, designers and crafters.
The eighth annual Handmade Holidays will be from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Saturday, November 9th and from noon to 4:00pm, Sunday, November 10th at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.
Shoppers can expect to find seasonal décor, ceramics, woodworking, metalwork, apparel, jewelry, soaps, toys, fabric crafts, candies, edibles, children’s accessories and more.

Cumberland Winds Jazz Project presents 1940s Radio Days at the Roxy Regional Theatre on November 22nd and 23rd
Clarksville, TN – With a nod to yesteryear, the Cumberland Winds Jazz Project is teaming with Clarksville’s oldest professional live theatre, the Roxy Regional Theatre, this fall to recreate an old-time radio show from the 1940s.
Traditional big band music will combine with radio skits, vintage advertisements and maybe a war newsflash or two at “The Jazz Project: 1940s Radio Days” at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Friday, November 22nd, and Saturday, November 23rd, at 7:30pm.
