Austin Peay physics student conducted research in Czech Republic this summer
Clarksville, TN – In a laboratory in the Czech Republic town of Pardubice, Austin Peay State University physics student James Winegar tried to strike up a conversation with a local Ph.D. student. Winegar, one of the few English speakers around, had spent much of the summer working on his Czech language skills, so he thought it was a good opportunity to practice a few phrases.

Commmunity Yard Sale at Kenwood Elementary School Saturday
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, October 20th the Kenwood Elementary School PTO will hold their Annual Community Yard Sale from 8:00am to 1:00pm.

Casino Night at Immaculate Conception School November 3rd
Clarksville, TN – On November 3rd, the Immaculate Conception School will hold their annual Casino Night from 7:00pm to 12:00am. Immaculate Conception School is located at 1901 Madison Street.
This event features live music, finger foods, cash bar and casino gaming with “funny money”.

Northeast High School Baseball 1st Annual First Pitch Steak Dinner December 13th
Clarksville, TN – On December 13th, the Northeast High School Baseball will have its 1st Annual NEHS Baseball First Pitch Steak Dinner with Mississippi State University head baseball coach Ron Polk as the featured speaker. Dinner is catered by the Cumberland Grille.
Coach Polk completed 28 seasons as head coach at Mississippi State, and 34 seasons as a collegiate head coach. In 2007 Polk led the Bulldogs to their sixth appearance at the prestigious NCAA College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. «Read the rest of this article»
