Heritage Bank holding company HopFed Bancorp declares Quarterly Cash Dividend
Hopkinsville, KY – HopFed Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: HFBC) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.02 per share. The cash dividend will be paid on January 18th, 2013, to stockholders of record as of December 31st, 2012.

Volunteers needed for Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Dream Chasers Group Mentoring Program
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is seeking mentors. Volunteer mentors are needed for the upcoming Dream Chasers Group Mentoring Program.
Mentors will be working with at-risk youth, ages 13-17 in a small group atmosphere. Crow Community Center offers Indoor Soccer for youth
Clarksville, TN – The Crow Community Center’s Indoor Soccer league kicks off January 5th! The 8-week league is open to ages 4-12 years and will teach the fundamentals of soccer.

Austin Peay State University begins Three-Year Bachelor’s degrees, 3+1 Bachelor’s to Master’s programs in Spring 2013

New Austin Peay State University Program promotes stronger teaching for APSU Professors
Clarksville, TN – A group of seven Austin Peay State University faculty members recently completed a new program at the school aimed at promoting excellence in teaching.
The APSU Office of Academic Affairs, the Title III Center for Teaching and Learning and the APSU Center for Extended and Distance Education recently co-sponsored the Faculty Teaching Program, which solicited a diverse group of top applicants from throughout APSU’s different colleges and academic departments.

APSU presented with deed to Madison Street house
Clarksville, TN – Standing on the long front porch, Austin Peay State University President Tim Hall peeked through a window to the inside of a house that now belongs to the APSU Foundation.
On December 11th, Heritage Bank President Keith Bennett presented Hall with the deed to 1220 Madison Street, located across the street from McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home in the historic district.
