    Clarksville's Leap of Faith MinistriesSt Louis, MO – Youth from Clarksville, Tennessee embarked on an educational excursion that began with the Missouri Historical Museum where they learned about the Missouri’s rich history and viewed the NFL Hall of Fame exhibits.

    The next day the group went on a walking guided tour around them Arch prior to taking the tram to take in St Louis from the top followed by a Riverboat cruise. Upon disembarking the group visited the Historical Courthouse where the Dred Scott Trail took place and were able to participate in the reenactment of the trial.

    Chris Burawa, director of the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts, has had several professional developments.     Rainbow Inc. was introduced in the Clarksville community in 2003 as an initiative of Iride, which operates in the Sassuolo region of Italy and has more than 28 years experience in cutting, grinding, polishing, and lapping ceramic tile.

    Clarksville’s Cumberland Arts Centre Dinner Theatre presents “Southern Fried Funeral” starting August 9th

    Cumberland Arts Centre Dinner Theatre - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – The Cumberland Arts Centre Dinner Theatre’s next production is “Southern Fried Funeral” with a heavy dose of veteran actors and a slew of newcomers to the stage.

    “Southern Fried Funeral”, written by Osbourne & Eppler, is set in the small Mississippi town of New Edinburgh. The play’s action takes place over several days in August during the funeral of Dewey Frye, who dropped dead in the middle of a joke to the Rotarians during their dinner meeting. His wife, Dorothy, is faced with dealing with funeral arrangements, the realities of widowhood and a crazy assemblage of family, both real and imagined.

    Dunbar Cave State Park Programs for July 29th through August 3rd, 2013

    Dunbar Cave State Park - Clarksville TNClarksville, TNDunbar Cave State Natural Area has been a State Park since 1973. The cave and its surrounding 110 acres have considerable scenic, natural and historical significance. The entrance offered shelter to prehistoric Native Americans as far back as 10,000 years.

    Dunbar Cave State Natural Area will present many nature programs this summer. There are programs for children and adults.

    Upcoming events include: Beginning Birding, Animals of Port Royal, Morning Nature Hike, Kids Nature Games, Evening Woods Walk and so much more!

    Clarksville’s 7th Annual US Bank Riverfest Regatta registration going on now

    Cardboard, and Bottle Boat Races

    Clarksville's Riverfest 2013Clarksville, TN – The Riverfest Regatta, sponsored by U.S. Bank, is not your typical boat race. The boats racing down the Cumberland River Saturday morning, September 7th, will be made of cardboard, a few other approved materials and this year, plastic bottles! Not only will teams be racing for bragging rights, but trophies will be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place teams in each division.

    Don’t miss the spectacle! Everyone is invited to watch as groups attempt to paddle their cardboard or plastic bottle boats to the finish line on the Cumberland River at 10:00am Saturday, September 7th, at McGregor Park’s courtesy boat dock.
