Montgomery County Election Commission Driver’s License Kiosk now available
Montgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Election Commission would like to remind citizens of the self-service driver’s license kiosk in the Election Commission office, located in the Veterans Plaza at 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 404.

Clarksville-Montgomery Public Library offers Free Downloadable Music and Online Classes
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery Public Library will be offering two new electronic resources for library card holders in Montgomery County – Freegal Music and Universal Class – available immediately on the library website: www.mcgtn.org/library — under the E-Resources tab.
Freegal Music, which is short for Free and Legal, is a resource that expands the collection of music available to C-MCPL library card holders by over 3 million songs. Each cardholder in good standing may download up to three MP3 files per week at no charge. Clarksville’s Kleeman Community Center’s Creepy Carnival and the Indoor Aquatic Center’s Floating Pumpkin Patch combine to present the first-ever, Spooky Spectacular
Clarksville, TN – The Kleeman Community Center and the Indoor Aquatic Center will be scaring up some Halloween fun with their first-ever Spooky Spectacular on Saturday, October 12th.
The Spooky Spectacular will be open from 3:00pm to 7:00pm with a Haunted Maze and Haunted Swim following from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at both facilities, located side-by-side at 166 Cunningham Lane.

Clarksville’s Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery installs new 170″ LED Video Wall for Ultimate Sports Viewing Experience
Clarksville, TN – Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery in Clarksville announces the addition of it’s new Video Wall to the pub’s amenities.
The Video Wall consists of nine LED flat screen televisions with full HD, layered 3×3 for a total viewing area of 170″. The wall has multiple configurations to include placing each of the nine tvs on different individual channels, or the entire nine tvs on one channel for 170″ viewing area.

Clarksville Community Concert Association free Concert tonight
Big Band, Jazz and Swing
Clarksville, TN – The 129th Army Jazz Band with 1st Sergeant Richard Griffin will present a concert Free for the entire community. This will be an opportunity for the entire family to enjoy an evening of big band music, jazz, and swing.
The concert will be held at the George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall, Austin Peay State University, Music/Mass Communication Building, 8th and Marion streets in Clarksville, Friday, September 13th at 7:30pm.

Clarksville Police Union “Clothe a Child” event Saturday
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, September 14th 2013, at the Sango Wal-Mart, at 8:00am, the Clarksville Police Union will be taking fifty under-privileged children clothes shopping. Each child will get to spend $100.00.
The children have been selected from 10 elementary schools spread throughout Montgomery County. The event will last no more than (1) one hour. Detective Tyler Barrett urges anyone to come out to assist and that the event should be fun for all involved.
Clarksville’s Rivers and Spires Festival named Top 100 Events in the Country
Clarksville, TN – The American Bus Association (ABA) recently announced that the Rivers & Spires Festival, to be held April 24th-26th, 2014 in Clarksville, Tennessee, has been named as one of the Top 100 Events in North America for 2014.
According to ABA, inclusion in the Top 100 list, published as a supplement to the September/October issue of Destinations magazine, indicates that Rivers & Spires offers excellent entertainment value to both tour groups and individual travelers from around the world.
