Clarksville, TN – Downtown Artists Co-op (DAC) is proud to announce an exhibit of fine art by Leslie Campbell and Steven Walker. The opening reception for this extraordinary exhibit will be on May 7th from 5:00pm till 8:00pm.
Leslie Campbell grew up in Massachusetts and attended North Adams State College (hence renamed the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts). She taught Middle School Art for several years.

Foust Family Tradition Continues at Multi-Generational Clarksville Foundry
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Foundry, one of Clarksville, Tennessee’s most historic businesses – and among the oldest operating foundries in the United States – has been owned and operated by members of the Foust family since 1912. In fact, the origins of this durable Foundry date to 1847.
Recently, a fourth generation of the Foust family – William “Bill” Foust – made an important career move by choosing to join the family business and continue the Foust tradition. Bill is the son of current President and CEO Charles Foust Jr.

Clarksville Park and Recreations’ 5th annual Warrior Week Car/Truck/Bike Show to be held May 9th
Clarksville, TN – The 5th annual Warrior Week Car, Truck, & Bike Show will be held Saturday, May 9th beginning at 11:00am at Heritage Park.
The show is open to public viewing but to enter your car, truck, or bike you must be an Active Duty or retired military, as well as members of the American Legion, DAV, and VFW with an ID card.

Army Historian John J. O’Brien to speak about History of Fort Campbell at Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library May 4th
Clarksville, TN – LTC John J. O’Brien, USA (Ret.) will be the featured speaker at the Friends of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library’s annual meeting on Monday, May 4th at noon.
O’Brien is currently Fort Campbell Post Historian and has recently written a book entitled A History of Fort Campbell, which will be the topic of his discussion.

Decorated soldier awarded APSU ROTC CSM Darol Walker Award
Clarksville, TN – The recipient of the 2015 Command Sgt. Maj. Darol Walker Award at Austin Peay State University is ROTC Cadet Kevin Doss, a decorated career soldier.
Doss, born in San Antonio, Texas, graduated from Boerne High School in 2001 and attended the University of Texas from 2001-03. He will graduate May 8th from APSU with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Military Science.
