Montgomery County Driver Safety Program brings ThinkFast Initiative to High Schools
Montgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Driver Safety Program recently brought the ThinkFast Interactive program to students at Montgomery Central High School. ThinkFast Interactive, sponsored by Nissan America and the Tennessee Governor’s Highway Safety Office, uses a game show setting to connect young people with factual, relevant information related to various personal health and safety issues such as impaired driving, seat belt safety, and distracted driving.

Montgomery County Animal Care and Control to host Kinessa Johnson today
Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control will host famed African wildlife activist Kinessa Johnson on Saturday, October 17th, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at their facility, 616 North Spring Street.
For a donation to Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (dog/cat food, bedding, toys, money, etc.) Kinessa will autograph and give participants a free 8×10 photograph.

Governor’s Square Mall to have Country Singer & Bullying Prevention Spokesperson Kylie Morgan to perform today
Performance in Support of National Bullying Prevention Month
Clarksville, TN – Country singer-songwriter and bullying prevention spokesperson, Kylie Morgan, will be perform at Governor’s Square Mall on Saturday, October 17, in support of National Bullying Prevention Month. The performance will begin at 1:00pm in Dick’s Sporting Goods Court. There will be a free meet & greet with Kylie at Vanity immediately following the performance.
Kylie Morgan is a 19-year-old country music artist from Newcastle, Oklahoma. At age 15, Kylie wrote the song, “Phoebe” in honor of Phoebe Prince, a young girl who committed suicide due to childhood bullying.

APSU Choral Activities presents Fall Choral Concert, Choir Fest in October
Clarksville, TN – This fall is shaping up to be another busy semester for Austin Peay State University Choral Activities, as current APSU students will display their talents, while hundreds of young music students from across the state will get a chance to experience what the University has to offer.
At 7:30pm on October 22nd, the Clarksville community will get their first chance this year to hear the University’s talented group of singers with a concert at the campus’ George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall. The Skating Dead: Season Finale for the ClarksVillain Roller Girls
Clarksville, TN – The ClarksVillain Roller Girls final game of the season is Saturday, October 17th at the Clarksville Speedway. The zombie-themed bout starts at 7:00pm, and doors open at 6:00pm.
There will be a live band at halftime and a zombie costume contest. So, arrive dressed to impress (the zombie judges, that is) and get there early for good seats!
After a great season putting new skills to the test, adding new members, and taking on new teams in the region the girls are excited to play the Southern Illinois Roller Girls in their final bout of the season.
