Carolyn Ferrell Book signing at Clarksville-Montgomery County Library Sunday, December 6th
Clarksville, TN – Carolyn Stier Ferrell is releasing her 6th book this month entitled, Riverview Cemetery: A History. There will be a booking signing for her on Sunday, December 6th, 2015 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Library.
Of the cemetery, Ms. Ferrell stated, “Riverview has existed as a cemetery for as long as humans have trod its hillsides. The indigenous people used it long before the white settlers came into the area.”

Clarksville’s Dunbar Cave State Park Programs for December 7th and December 8th, 2015
Clarksville, TN – Dunbar Cave State Natural Area has been a State Park since 1973. The cave and its surrounding 110 acres have considerable scenic, natural and historical significance. The entrance offered shelter to prehistoric Native Americans as far back as 10,000 years.
Dunbar Cave State Natural Area will present many nature programs during the year. There are programs for children and adults.

Austin Peay State University’s The All State, editor recognized at national conference
Clarksville, TN – The All State, the student newspaper of Austin Peay State University, recently earned national awards at the annual National College Media Convention in Austin, Texas.
For the first time in the publication’s 85-year history, it was recognized at the national conference for Best in Show. The All State was ranked No. 10 for its special section on the 2015 Homecoming celebration at APSU.

Clarksville Citizens Police Academy to hold 1st Annual Gospel Christmas Concert December 12th
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, December 12th, 2015 at 3:00pm, the 1st Annual Gospel Christmas Concert, sponsored by the Citizens Police Academy, will be held at the City of David Christian Center located at 1790 Woodlawn Road in Clarksville. Doors open at 2:30pm.
Admission is free and donations are accepted. All donations raised will go to the Citizens Police Academy in support of the Clarksville Police Department.
