    Beginning at 7:00pm, Lucian Greene will open the night with a variety of upbeat acoustic songs. Following Lucian, Purple Madness will take the stage!

    Purple Madness is the ultimate celebration to one of the most widely beloved entertainers of all-time. This Prince Tribute Band will get you up on your feet and take you through all the singer’s top hits like ‘Purple Rain’ ‘Kiss’ and ‘Little Red Corvette.’

    Roxy Regional Theatre to unveil 40th Anniversary Season on June 15th

    Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Clarksville’s oldest professional theatre, the Roxy Regional Theatre, is poised to enter its 40th year of live entertainment on the corner of Franklin and First in historic downtown Clarksville.  

    Executive Director Ryan Bowie and the Roxy Regional Theatre Board of Directors are hosting “The Official Unveiling of the 40th Anniversary Season” at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Wednesday, June 15th, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.

    The cast of Cry-Baby: The Musical will provide live musical entertainment, featuring hits from the 1950s and 1960s.  Tables will be themed around each production, featuring hors d’oeuvres and libations from local vendors, including Chartwells Catering, MB Roland Distillery, Premier Crush and others.

    Downtown @Sundown Concert Series at Downtown Commons.Montgomery County, TN – This Friday, May 20th, 2022, Downtown @ Sundown will feature Clarksville’s favorite local bands, Tennessee Pluckers and Music for Mercy!

    Beginning at 7:00pm, Tennessee Pluckers will take the stage. This local country and southern rock band is composed of Kyle Clements, Logan Moore and Wes Page and play at various local venues, county festivals, basketball arenas and amphitheaters.

    Following Tennessee Pluckers, Music for Mercy will take the stage offering the crowd a variety of soul and funk songs from the 60’s to today!

    Fort Defiance to host March to the Past

    Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Ever wondered what 19th-century life was like? Fort Defiance Civil War Park and Interpretive Center will host March to the Past on Saturday, May 14th from 10:00am to 3:00pm to give you a glimpse into that time.

    The event, in collaboration with The Friends of Fort Defiance, will be a day of 19th-century living history demonstrations including Civil War camp life, musket and artillery firing, period cooking, and children’s activities.

    Tennessee Watercolor Society 50th Anniversary Exhibition Will Culminate at the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center

    Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Queen City Road Race set for Saturday, May 7th

    Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Queen City Road Race presented by Publix returns on Saturday, May 7th from 7:00am to noon, at Liberty Park.

    The event will feature a 10K, 5K, and one-mile route. All three routes will begin and end at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center in Liberty Park. The 1 mile and 5K are held entirely in the park, while the 10K will take runners down Riverside Drive and into McGregor Park.

    Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female runners in the 10K and 5K races. Online registration is still available at ClarksvilleParksRec.com and will remain open until 4:00pm. We also welcome in-person registrations the morning of the race.

    Becoming a viral sensation on TikTok, Priscilla has over 1.3 million followers with top songs like Just About Over You and her newest release “My Bar.” Starting out her ‘Welcome to the Block Tour’ Clarksville will get to see Priscilla Block live in concert totally free! Priscilla Block has been nominated for a CMT award and will be performing at CMA Fest this summer.

    Historic Former Post Office and Federal Building Becoming The Mailroom Restaurant

    It is currently being transformed into The Mailroom restaurant and is expected to open in Summer 2022.

    Movies in the Park returns May 28th

    Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department announces the return of Movies in the Park, presented by Kyrstin Frate of Keller Williams Realty. The popular event series is set to feature a movie each month at dusk from May through September. 

    The event will alternate between Liberty Park Amphitheater and Heritage Park Softball Field throughout the season.
